Radhanagar is regularly called Asia's best beach and on a clear December morning it is hard to argue. This trip gives Havelock three nights — enough that you are not spending the holiday on ferries — and Neil Island two.
Port Blair is a single evening, and the right one: the Cellular Jail light-and-sound show, which tells the story of the place properly. Everything after that is water.
Ferry seats between the islands are on private high-speed catamarans, booked in advance. Government ferries are cheaper and we will book them on request, but the schedule is not yours to control.
Every day of the trip, with the hotel, the meals and the sightseeing written out. Nothing here is hidden behind a login.
Pick-up from Veer Savarkar airport, check in and rest. Afternoon at Corbyn's Cove, then the Cellular Jail and the 17:45 light-and-sound show.
Morning catamaran to Havelock, about ninety minutes. Check in, afternoon free, and Radhanagar for sunset — go at 16:30, the light is the whole point.
Boat to Elephant Beach for snorkelling over live coral; glass-bottom boat for non-swimmers. Afternoon at Kalapathar, the quiet eastern beach. Optional scuba discovery dive.
Short ferry across to Neil. Check in, then Laxmanpur beach for the sunset and the natural rock bridge at low tide.
Early snorkel at Bharatpur, the island's best accessible reef. Midday ferry back to Port Blair. Evening at the Samudrika naval museum and the Aberdeen bazaar.
Breakfast and transfer to the airport. Note that Port Blair flights mostly leave before noon.

Private AC vehicles on each island and reserved seats on private high-speed catamarans between them. Ferry timings are set by the operator and the sea; the itinerary has slack built in for a delayed crossing.

Neil Island is quieter than Havelock and Bharatpur before breakfast was the best snorkelling of my life. The Cellular Jail show on the first night set the whole trip up properly — go in knowing nothing and let it tell you.

This is the thing to look for when comparing Andaman packages. Most give Havelock a single night and you spend the holiday on ferries. Three nights meant we saw Radhanagar at sunset twice and did Elephant Beach without watching the clock. Private catamarans throughout — we never queued.
